Lost Wax Casting

Lost-wax casting is casting using a wax model that is melted away to leave a hollow chamber in the middle of the mold. Lost-wax casting (also called “investment casting” is the process by which a duplicate metal sculpture (often silver, gold, brass or bronze) is cast from an original sculpture. Intricate works can be achieved by this method.
