If you are interested in meeting new friends, learning new crafts or looking for an environment where you can explore your creativity, then we invite you to drop in or become a full member.

First, as a drop in, if you just want to see if a particular activity is something you would enjoy, or if you only have occasional times you can join in, then you can pay daily drop-in fees and join a scheduled activity. The cost of this varies depending on the activity and reflects the maintenance costs for our building and equipment.

On your first visit you will have to fill out an application form and sign a liability waiver. Before you can participate, we will also go over our policies and bylaws with you.

Drop In Fees Per Session:

Silversmithing and Lapidary: $10 per day

Woodworking: $15 per day

All Other Programs: $6 per day

Second, if you would like access to all scheduled activities, then you can join as a member. The membership year is September 1 to August 31. 

Membership Requirements:

Jonanco is a volunteer club. Everyday operation of Jonanco and maintenance of the clubhouse is done by volunteers. It is a requirement of membership to contribute a minimum of 24 volunteer hours per year. These hours are reported monthly by the member and tracked. 

There is a wide variety of tasks and fundraising activities that are available to choose from. If you wish to become a member, fill in the form below and make an appointment to meet with the Membership Committee. Bring the form with you. There will also be a liability waiver to sign.

Be prepared to spend 30 – 60 minutes with the membership committee to review our policies and bylaws. There is also a requirement that you be vaccinated for COVID. Be prepared to show your vaccination record.

Fees:

Yearly Membership Fee: $150 for up to two household members. (Living at the same address.)

Minimum Age for Woodworking, Lapidary and Silversmithing: 19
